Why did I decide to embark into mentoring young leaders?

A dangerous myth!

Today's just-so story in the corporate world will sound familiar: the new generation of managers "just aren't what they used to be — they lack courage!" You've probably heard HR managers complain about unreasonable work/life balance requests and a lay about lack of ambition.
And I'll confess, there were moments I supported this belief.

But no longer. Today, after intensive interviews and serious reflection, I developed the deep conviction that this isn't just incorrect — it's a myth that actively harms our field every second we continue to believe it.

A give back response

The new generations know what they don't want in an unpredictable world. And this requires COURAGE.
If they want to have an impact, young leaders should stand up for themselves, challenge the status quo and bring their authentic self to work every day. And this requires COURAGE.

While there's no shortage of leadership literature, the topic of COURAGE remains secondary. Therefore, there is plenty of room for mentoring by experienced courageous senior leaders.
